DESCRIPTION: This flatwoven kilim was woven of goat hair and dyed cotton in Adana, Turkey in the 1960s. Goat hair was commonly used in kilim rugs for its strength and water-resistant properties: pour water on this rug and it will bead up like a performance fabric! An excellent choice for anywhere you might use an indoor-outdoor rug for durability: 3-season porches, mudrooms, etc. Pattern, color variation, and signs of wear with vintage items is normal. All rugs are washed prior to shipping.
