McCabe (3 x 12)District Rug Shoppe
DIMENSIONS: 3'4" x 12'6"
ORIGIN: 1920s Malayer
RUG COLORS: Dark blue field, almond brown, olive green
MATERIALS: Wool pile on cotton.
DESCRIPTION: The McCabe is a malayer rug, hand-knotted by a cottage industry of small shops and in-home weavers. The field of this runner shows natural variation in colors (known as abrash), from a soft green to a deeper teal. This is common, and only enhances its charm. This rug has been treated with an antique wash, softening its tones to appeal to the palette of any modern-day home. Pattern, color variation, and signs of wear with vintage items is normal.
Note: the depth of color in this rug greatly varies based on where it is placed in a home. These product pictures were taken inside, in indirect light. If placing the rug in an area that receives a lot of natural light, it will appear lighter overall. See styled photo for example.
PILE: Low pile. We recommend rug pads with all Passerine rugs.
