Shipping & Returns
Orders are shipped within 2-3 days of order placement, unless Ultra-Guard Fabric Protection add-on services are selected (see details about this service here). Orders which include Ultra-Guard Fabric Protection treatment will be shipped within 5-7 business days of order placement, to allow sufficient time for rugs to be treated and to dry thoroughly. All orders are shipped via UPS or FedEx Ground. All orders will require signature at the time of delivery.
If you wish to have shipping expedited or have any special shipping needs, please email email@example.com immediately after purchasing. We will are happy to price out alternative shipping options for you and invoice you separately for the incremental cost in shipping.
If you live in the Washington D.C. area and would like to pick up your rug, select "local pick-up" at checkout. We love to meet our customers in person!
SHIPPING RUGS ON APPROVAL:
Effective April 2021, full-priced rugs with a retail price exceeding $10,000 can be purchased on memo/on approval by Passerine trade partners. If the rug does not meet client expectations for any reason, the rug can be returned for a full refund minus the cost of shipping, provided that it ships back to Passerine within three business days of its delivery date. All returns must be in original condition, with labels/tags in tact.
Due to the vintage, one-of-a-kind nature of our products, all sales are final. Any advertised promotions or discounts are only valid in the timeline in which they are held and cannot be applied to past or future orders.
All products of Passerine are vintage or antique. Vintage products are worn in nature, and may contain blemishes, which gives each product its one of a kind appeal, and therefore cannot be considered defective.
