DESCRIPTION: A rug style harkening from the northeastern Caucasus region, this area is now a part of Russia but was Persian through the 19th century, and thus carries many familiarities with the Persian rug making styles. This particular Derbent caught our attention given its crisp, multi-medallion design and vivid color palette. This rug has been treated with an antique wash, softening its tones to appeal to the palette of any modern-day home. Pattern, color variation, and signs of wear with vintage items is normal.
We recommend using rug pads to extend the life of all Passerine rugs. Add a custom-sized rug pad to your order using order add-on the drop down above.
