DESCRIPTION: This rug is a Sultanabad mahal: a name reserved for the finest and oldest of mahal rugs. Differentiated features include an undyed cream background and border, crisp water garden design across an all-over field, and very soft, hand-spun wool. The colors in this rug are authentic to the original vegetable dyes chosen by the weaver: the rug has not been antique washed. Pattern, color variation, and signs of wear with vintage items is normal.
We recommend using rug pads to extend the life of all Passerine rugs. Add a custom-sized rug pad to your order using order add-on the drop down above.
