DESCRIPTION: This shiraz is a tribal rug, adorned by a classic 3-medallion pattern surrounded by a field of primatively-depicted flowers. As with all tribal rugs, the motifs featured in this rug were knotted from memory by the weaver, likely passed down by generations and learned as a child. The repeating rams horns and boteh borders together symbolize virility and fertility. The rug's wool-on-wool construction lends a highly flexible, soft, and supple feel to the rug. Pattern, color variation, and signs of wear with vintage items is normal. For additional pictures or videos of any of our rugs, email a request to hello[at]passerinhome[dot]com.
To extend the life of the rug, Passerine recommends rug pads with all vintage rugs. Add one to your order by selecting the size of your chosen rug from the rug pad product drop down.
